LOVE Leopold, my favorite of the three. It's one of the most effortlessly handsome English names out there, imo. I dislike Poldi, it takes some of that away. I'd go with Leo, but probably no nickname at all.
Lysander is great as well, if not a bit lizard-y. I always think of Demetrius and Lysander from A Midsummer Night's Dream, so I tend to compare the two. Demetrius always wins for me (the name, not necessarily the character), which is probably why I've not considered Lysander myself.
Samson is meh. Most Sam names are meh. Forgettable. Next to Leopold and Lysander, especially.
