I'm not a fan, though I do like Silvester so you'd think i'd like it. It has a sinister feel to me (unsure why)
Spelling wise I prefer Silvan

Just saw the Silvan spelling, and I am leaning towards it too.
Plus, totally forgot about the Sylvan Learning Centers here in the States. Think that would be an issue?
