The Harringtons had a surprise in the way of a sixth child, a daughter, just as their third was ready to head off to Hogwarts. Rudyard had sorted into Hufflepuff, and Iolanthe into Ravenclaw - Quin is excited that his house is coming out ahead in the family, but Isolde doesn't seem to care as much. Prosper joined the quidditch team in his third year as a chaser, and the sport has become his greatest passion. Rudyard is more interested in his schoolwork, particularly CAre of Magical Creatures. For her first year of Hogwarts, Iolanthe chose to bring a cat.

Life in the Barton-McGuinness has continued as normal as it can for a family with three demigod children. The children of Apollo spend their summers at Camp Halfblood, and the schoolyear at home. The twins and Riley have made a truce as they have all come to love their half-siblings. They don't have much more to do with each other than they have to, though - they don't understand each other's lives. The greatest recent development in the family is that Aiden has started dating a girl from the Demeter cabin. While their parents seem to consider it a usual teenage romance, the demigods have a more serious view of the relationship, maybe because they face deadly monsters together on a fairly regular basis. At any rate he is extremely dedicated at reciting poetry to her.
