I was investigating about the name Simon and results that Jimeno is the same. I think that it was imposible, but I think: Jimeno and Jimena doesn't have traduction to English so maybe it is true. If you know more information about the name Jimeno please answer. Thanks:)

Jimena is the feminine variation of Jimeno. Jimeno itself is a Spanish variation of Ximeno, which is the Basque version of Simon. However, Ximena and Ximeno are also used in Spanish-speaking areas, and this is where the surname Jiménez/Ximénez comes from.
