I never minded the name Opal until I looked after a little Opal. For some reason, I just kept wanting to say "April" but that could just be my Aussie accent...

Hm. I can see how that might be an issue with some accents. I know with mine it's not so I didn't even think of it.
Maybe using it as a middle name would be a better option in some cases!
