Um, because it's an unusual name with a non-intuitive spelling?
Don't get me wrong, I like the name Aoife. I would know how to spell it because I'm a namenerd. But most people aren't. That's the burden that comes with having an unusual name.
Would you rather be one of the millions of Jennifers, Laurens, Emmas.. because take it from me, it's not so great having a common name.
Sometimes sentences don't end the way you think they salad.
