Regan is the maiden name of my grandmother, and she'd call her son
Regan although his name was
William. We call him Uncle
Regan, and we pronounce it ree-gan. I can see ray-gan being used easily too, however :)
Because
Regan is a unisex and an originally masculine name, I'd try and girl it up a bit with the middle name, but that's just me.
