I tried to find out which kanji were used to write the specific
Tamiko from the 1962 film "A Girl Named
Tamiko". However, as this is a Western film, it did not seem to give attention to the Japanese writing of the name. And when the film was released in Japan as well they used another title for it which did not contain the name:
