I like it too. It's satisfying to say, warm and chewy. And though I like both Sonya and Sonia, I rather enjoy Sonya's tart charms. Sonia is trying to play dressup - Sonya is like, yeah, I'm Sonya, deal with it.Do you say it "SONE-ya" or "SAWN-ya"?

I say SONE-ya. And I agree with your assessment of Sonia and Sonya.

Oh! I always though the spellings were pronounced different. I thought Sonia was sone-ya and Sonya was sahn-ya. Guess I simply wasn't paying attention.
