I like it. Thoughts?

I vastly prefer Sonia.
This was the name of one of my great aunts however she spelt it Sonia, which I prefer.
I personally have always loved this name. It has a very classy ring to it and sounds unique without being ridiculous.

I've never really liked the sound of it, to be honest. I also haven't had very good personal connotations with it, so that doesn't help.
Not really a fan of the Russian Sonya. . . but I happen to love the Italian Sonia. I know a few and I have always thought it was soft, yet had a simple elegance.
I know a Sonia Susan, Sonia Jordana and a simply Sonia.
I only know one Sonya. . and she is an elderly lady. No idea on a middle name.
I personally would pair it with something classy, but bold, like Sonia Giuditta or Sonia Evangeline.

I do too! My friend's neice is 3 and named Sonya. I think it's such a sophiscated name on a little girl that ages really well. I'm not sure what I'd pair it with though. I'm not sure the Sonya I know of, middle name, but they are very Italian so probably something over the top. I'm kind of digging Sonya Elise, even if that's a bit bland, but I think Sonya has enough personality to hack it. Maybe Sonya Eloise.
Elise is just one of those middle names I think of pairing with something that has a lot more personality but whenever I use it I feel like it's nothing really special even though I love Elise. I think of pairing it with a lot of names but the only one I've ever really liked is Juniper Elise. Sonya is a hard one though, but Sonya Elise would do for now :)
