[Opinions] Linnea and Juniper
What are your thoughts on Linnéa and Juniper, both separately and as sisters? Is the nature theme far too much? And is it terrible that, given the chance, I would be tempted to continue the nature theme with brothers Aster and Rowan, or maybe even Basil or Briar?
Much obliged!

Linnéa- lovely
Juniper- don't care for it.
Aster- okay
Rowan- Nice
Basil- dislike, it is a plant name that seems dated and unpleasant like drinking barley water.
Briar- a guilty pleasure of mine. I wouldn't use it myself, but I would like seeing it used.
Linnéa is an obscure enough of a plant that it wouldn't seem as jarringly matchy if her sibling also had a plant inspired name. To me having daughters Rose, Daisy and Violet would seem ridiculously like a bouquet, but I don't mind Linnéa, Rowan and Aster.

I love Linnea! I really like the flower association as well as the scientist association. Juniper is a cool middle name (Linnea Juniper! LOVE it!) but I wouldn't want to be saddled with it as a first name. Not everyone could pull it off, I don't think.
I doubt very many people associate Linnea with flowers so I don't think they're too naturey as siblings.

I like both names and feel they work well together. The nature theme is subtle and no big deal, imo. I'd use them with Rowan, but not with Basil or Briar because that would be too obvious. I'd be more likely to use Linnéa because while I do like Juniper, I want to say Jupiter every time and I'd be afraid others would also. Still, if more people used Juniper, that potential issue shouldn't be as much of an issue.

I like both of them. Linnea is very popular here, while Juniper isn't. So they feel a bit mismatched to me popularity wise, but you're not in Sweden so I doubt it would be a problem where you live. :)
Personally I would stay away from naming themes though. They are cheesy, and not that fun to grow up with. At least not if you grow up to be a namenerd :p
