When I speak English, I say TAL i tha, like Tabitha with an L. But in Afrikaans (where it is quite popular) we say ta LEE ta; no -th- sound. Different modern languages use different pronunciations, depending on their different systems.What it sounded like in ancient Aramaic is another matter ... but since the -th- sound is rare, I rather wonder if a -t- in the last syllable might not be more likely.
