I'm so coloured by knowing someone bearing a name! I've just known one Maggie, a fellow student in my nursing class. She was a few years older than most of us,and so very kind and helpful without being condescending.
So Maggie is a winner for me.

Am I the only one who loves Maggie? I think it's adorable. I like Flintstone jelly glasses, too.

Maggie is the name of my friend's cat, sorry! Haha. I don't think I would be able to use it on a child because of this association.

It was the name of my grandparents' dog, but I still like it for a person.

LOLI'm sure you're not the only one who likes Maggie, but it makes me think of a black ugly crow, I'm sure because of the word "magpie." I'd rather not drink my wine out Flintstone jelly glasses.

ha!I'm not a huge Maggie fan, but don't hate it either. I do agree that Meg sounds more sophisticated. We call our Meg "Meggie" sometimes, but not usually in public because I don't want people to think we're saying Maggie.
