Hey!
I'm so glad that so many of you took part in the first round, and pleased that you enjoy the theme. Thank you to all of you! It was really hard to choose any particular names from all those suggested, because they were all wonderful and I do kind of wish I could have picked at least half a dozen for each name. I can't wait to see what names you all come up with for this round!
For reference (and for any possible newcomers who missed last round), basic info can be found here -

LN: Gloom
{Weirwood}DH:
Agrippa Timothy Muriel Gloom “
Aggie” (30)
{ValerieK}DW: Nettle
Spyridoula {Wildwood} Gloom (28)
{Bea}
DD/DS:
The Glooms have been married for two years already. How time flies. Nettle has just given birth to twins, one of each gender. The birth was somewhat irregular… both babies are healthy and happy, but they’re a bit… hairy. At first
Aggie and Nettle were flummoxed, after all, nobody expects to welcome a newborn with eyebrows like
that, until Aggie’s mother pointed out that a recessive form of lycanthropy has been known to crop up in the Gloom family. After all, her great grandmother
Thea was a werewolf, and so was Aggie’s uncle
Theophilos. And, either way, genetics amongst the paranormal community has never been an exact art…
The twins’ first names should have a meaning associated with ‘wolf’ or ‘moon’ – mythological wolves and lunar deities count too. You can go for a 'werewolf' theme if you're feeling confident! They don't have to have a match-y theme, unless that's what you feel inspired by.
Their middle names should honour
Thea or
Theophilos – using the name elements listed in the BtN definitions, in any way you see fit, or simply the names themselves as inspiration. For example,
Dorothea would work, obviously borrowing from
Thea. At the same point,
Philander would work too, borrowing from the ‘philos’ of
Theophilos. Be as wacky and elaborate, or simple and straightforward, as you like! You may ‘franken’ or ‘smush’ up or simply create a name too, as long as it follows the honouring guidelines.
The main rule, however, is to have fun!
I look forward to seeing your name ideas! :D
