Would you spell the male name Jorj? No? Then please don't do it to Georgia, since then it stops being a fem. form of George imo and starts looking like a kre8tyv, rather illiterate-looking, rather tryndee-looking mess to me. Besides, Georgia's underused enough to not need another spelling to be unusual.I'm sorry to be so harsh, but I really, really despise this so-called "spelling" perpetuated from pop culture. I hold the same dislike for names like Lorelai, so I'm not picking on Jorja exclusively!Georgia's classic and gorgeous. Go for it! Or try another fem. form of George, like Georgiana, Georgiane, Georgette, or Georgetta.

No problem. In Australia, Jorja is up in the top 100 baby names, and it's becoming even more popular. I LOVE this spelling.
