[Opinions] Twin names
I thought of names for twins that were male and female - Demi and Thomas, as Demi means 'half' and Thomas means 'twin'! What does everyone else think?

I have four kids, all singletons. I always told my husband if we should ever have b/g twins I would insist they be Sahara and Mojave - our last name is Sands. So, yes, Sahara Sands and Mojave Sands. We'd call them Sara and Mo. He always groaned and thanked his lucky stars each time we had only one baby. (I would not have done these names with singletons, lest I end up with one and never the other. They had to be b/g twins or I'd never use the names. I never did.)

Clever :-) And I like the names.

I like it. The names are nms, but I think that if you must pair your twins names, this is the way to do it because the connection isn't immediately obvious or cutesy.

I think it is really cute and I would probably do something like that too... to tie them together put give them a little of their own identity.
although... I went to high school with these twins named Gynn (Gwen) and Lynn and they HATED it. They said that everyone knew they were twins anyway... why did their name have to scream it as well.
even still... I would probably do something cheesy to my kids if I had twins.

It's a good way to choose twin names - with a subtle meaning that ties them together. I think it works. Demi and Thomas would be nice for twins.

Seems nice, allthough Demi sounds like a nn.
Other names related to Thomas are Tamsin, (Tamsyn, Tamzin, Tamzyn), Thomasin, Tamlan (scottish version of Thomas) and Tamlin (arameic version of Thomas).
But the idea is really good.
