[Opinions] Re: Montgomery
It makes me think of ... I dunno ... forties films, street-posh, brick-estate, hardboiled ... it's characterish. It has that appeal.Personally I always liked it ... except the GUMRY part? I guess. I liked smart quick MONTE, or Monty, and the fact that Montgomery was hidden behind it. But I like it hidden. The glottal stop in it next to the G, in my accent, is pretty darned insufferable. Mun(k)umry. It's only because I know the hotshotty Euro spelling, that it ever seemed okay.Montgomery Grant is pretty good.
Montgomery ... Franklin, Orrin, Walter.- mirfak
