[Opinions] Mabel, Ruth, Falene
Ruth would be "Ruthie" most of the time. Falene pronounced "fuh-LEEN." And would you suggest/do you prefer a different spelling? I'm partial to Philene / Philena, also.

I've never been a big fan of Ruth, I don't really know why. It just seems bland to me.
I really like Mabel. I don't think I'd ever use it, but it is cute and very "Southern" to me.
Falene is okay, I feel like I've heard it used before somewhere, but I can't remember where. I don't really like the way it looks. It does seem like it would be kind of dated, since it reminds me of Marlene, Darlene, etc.

Faline is the name of Bambi's girlfriend
Faline is the named if Bambi's Girlfriend in the movie/novel. The name "Feline" is to be pronounced the same I think bit obviously most would just read it as "FEE-line." I believe Philene/Philena are of Greek origin - meaning "lover of mankind" ...from what I can gather
