[Opinions] Re: Jubilee
I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet, but it reminds me of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee! Not an awful connotation or anything, but that's where my mind goes. It's cute and fun to say, but it's like... really really cute. It's almost comical because it just makes me think hyper and bubbly thoughts. There's a goofiness about this name that can't really go unnoticed. I mean... just say "Jubi" on its own. It's like a cartoon character.

The Diamond Jubilee was my first thought too! I've only heard the word jubilee in the context of silver, golden and diamond jubilees for monarchs. People keep saying it's a religious name but I have no idea of the religious meaning. It's not something I've ever come across. Can anyone explain?

I think it's in reference to Jubilee Years: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jubilee_(Christianity)It doesn't have much of a religious vibe to me. More X-Men and dessert.
