I can't decide why I don't like this name. I sort of do. I want to, because it means moon and is nice and simple. But ... the sound of it just doesn't give me warm name-fuzzies. It's vaguely like Lucy or Luellen or Luann, it has that Lugawkiness. I named a character Cluna once, in order to get that effect. And it always reflects moonlight from the word "loony," which doesn't make it more evocative for me ... it just makes it seem dippy and self-conscious, like Ember or Raven. It's okay, just doesn't work for me very well.

Oh my gosh, I'm just reading through the other responses after I posted mine, and I had to lol that I chose the exact same adjective "dippy"! Funny. Funnier still, you said what I felt but couldn't articulate, the wanting to like it but just not.
