Luke and Maria had been dating for a couple of years when Maria got pregnant. Ria's parents were furious and turned her out of their home. Sephe and Jon weren't that happy about it either, but they wanted both Luke and Ria to finish school and have a decent chance in life, so they took Ria into their home. In due course, Aidan was born and the whole family was crazy about him. Even little Jase was excited about having a nephew so close to his own age who could be a playmate.
