I like quite a lot of your names. Since they're so many, I'll group the ones I like as FNs and ones I like as MNs.

Alec for a NN for Alexander is great, I do really like it!
I prefer Sara over Sarah, but when it comes to compromise, I'm definitely okay with adding the -H.
The definites seem to be Alexander, William, & Layla. Should we just make combos with those 3 names and have 3 kids?
(Question: Every round, we'll have a new partner, right? So does that mean within every round we have a new family?)

Yeah, the idea is that every round we do this and create an entirely new family. In round 2 I'll post all the finished families from this round so everyone can read each other's =)

We do an Alexander & Anastasia twin set, with a William, Layla, & Elizabeth, but I almost think that Layla is the left out name. Not so "royal."

I guess Layla is a little less royal but I still think she'd fit in with Alexander, Anastasia, William & Elizabeth if you wanted to do a bigger family. Some combos:
