It's dated but I like it.

Hugely prefer both Alice and Alison. (Not Allison, though. Top-heavy.) Alicia is trying too hard and falling flat.

I like it pronounced like alice-ya, but I don't like it pronounced aleesha.I prefer Alice, it seems more classy and timeless.

I like it much better with the cia prn "see-a" rather than "sha." One way it's light and brisk, the other it's heavy and dated.

I never know how to pronounce it, which makes it a difficult name to use in real life. I much prefer Alyssa, because at least I know how to pronounce it.
I prefer Alicia pronounced ah-LISS-ee-ah because I think it sounds more refined. :)

It's dated. And has way to many pronunciations.

I like it, pronounced "uh-LEESH-uh." I know a lot of people on these boards dislike it, or at least they did when I asked about it. But I think it's really pretty. And I prefer "uh-LEESH-uh" to "ah-LEE-see-ah."

Meh. I don't hate it, and I like it on some people, but I don't care for it particularly. It mostly just sounds preppy to me.
Plus I know a lot of people my age named Alicia or similar names, which means a baby born right now named Alicia is likely to grow up with the same name as some of her friends' moms... I guess that isn't a bad thing though, as long as the name is still popular.

never been a favorite of mine. i think it sounds a bit prissy. also, you can never be sure how the parents mean it to be pronounced (unless you tweak the spelling, which can get crazy)- is it uh-LEESH-uh, uh-LEE-see-uh, uh-LISH-uh? etc. etc. etc.

It just makes me think of Alicia Keys, I don't know if it's an association you like or not. And yes, it sounds prissy.
