[Surname] Yeargin/Yeargain

Does anyone know the meaning or geographic origin of the Welsh surname Yeargin/Yeargain? It was my mother's maiden name, and the first known person in America with the name was a Methodist minister in the 1730s who came to Virginia from Wales.
