Although I do like a lot of fn based nns, there are a lot of names that I wish people wouldn't nn: William, Edmund, Michael, Alexander, Alexandria, Hallie, Phillip, Madeline, etc... What is the obsession with nns - why does every name have to have one? I know I ask from time to time for options, but I really don't understand why the whole name can't be used in most cases.
