I love British names and highly recommend the book 'Beyond
Charles &
Diana: An Anglophile's Guide to Baby Naming' by bLinda Rosenkrantz and
Pamela Redmond Satran! I just recently bought this book and it tells all the quintessential British names, royal names and all kinds of other things. It points out that a lot of the names we think of as "British" came from other countries as Britain's culture merged or expanded with other nationalities (Vikings,
Norman Conquest, Hanover kings, etc.) .
A lot of my favorites could be considered British so I'll just give you a few that I like.
