I think celeb baby names are great. Like, what's the point of being a celebrity if you can't do whatever the hell you want.
You basically listed off all of my favorites too. I love the Pitt-Jolie kids' names. They're excellent. Not super heard of before their births/adoptions, but not super crazy off the wall so it's unapproachable. Like, other people hear these names and go "OH neat I've never thought of that but I LIKE IT" and that's why
Maddox,
Shiloh,
Vivienne, and
Knox gained popularity. It's okay that
Pax didn't, because it's a feminine name. Too bad about
Zahara.
Also your arguements against them are terrible? "
Pax sounds like Packs?" Yes thank you for the pronunciation guide, did you also know that
Noah sounds like "no, uh"?
Haven and
Honor are both words. WOW. That's
terrible, no one else ever used
words as names before. Actually both of these names are nice and while I prefer
Haven on a boy, I see no problem here?
Harper Seven is like... not that original? I know she got a lot of "omg crazy" comments but I DONT GET WHY? People have been using
Harper on a girl for years. And people have used Seven before too. Like, non celebrity people were doing this before her.
And names don't automatically define personality. She can be girly and have a "boy's name" (NO its not even a boys name, it's a WORD! Which is the same naming sin (apparently) that
Jessica Alba committed. Gaaasp).
Moxie Crimefighter is cool. Whatever. Crimefighter is cool. I saw a BA once for
Ella Firedancer. Like, I think if you're about to give your daughter the middle name
Marie and you have no family reason to do so, you should stop and consider using two words mashed together that sound like an awesome career.
Sophia Marie? No.
Sophia Vampirehunter. Moxie is a word that doesn't strike me as negative, plus it sounds like Maxie. It's
cool! and it's a celebrity kid! Like do you really think this child is going to have trouble in school really
omg did you hear beyonce and jay-z named their daughter BLUE
IVY? That's like, two words? And a color? And sounds like Blew?
