[Facts] Gema and Flor
Are Gema and Flor used as names in Portuguese?
Also are there any name popularity charts from Portugal? I can't seem to find any.

Thank you both for your help!
I have some Portugal popularity lists on my own website here:
http://www.babynames.ch/Info/Series/psPtYearly
My 2010 source is here, on an interesting blog:
http://nomesportugueses.blogspot.ch/2011/01/lista-oficial-dos-nomes-mais-escolhidos.html
I remember that I was not able to find the original, official source where the blogger must have taken the 2010 lists from.
Edit: 2011 is here on the same blog, together with info about an original PDF:

Both names are used, even though Gema is very rare - only 5 women registered as such between 1920 and 1980 (probably because it coincides with the word for "egg yolk" - but in the earilier 20th century almost all women had Maria as their first name, so there could be a couple more called "Maria Gema").
Flor is becoming popular again, and it is often used in a double name like Ana Flor or Maria Flor.
Here is the list of all baby names registered in 2011: http://www.4shared.com/office/FZJVJRpP/Lista_oficial_de_nomes_mais_us.html
(Keep in mind that many of those names were used in cases where at least one of the parents is a foreigner and so they wouldn't be allowed for an average Portuguese child.)
