I used to dislike this name, with a passion, but I guess my feelings about it changed, without me even realizing it. I did begin to feel the change in attitude towards it, over the weekend, because Monday someting popped (like an over-filled water ballon bursting) in my brain and I sort felt the new love for it pouring in.
I think it came from the fact, that I began to see it more as related to Elizabeth (etc), than to Lily (etc) and I've never liked Lily either. But who knows if I'll not take in Lily, now that I've found the love for Lillian inside me. This is reminding me about Michael, where I loved all other variants (m/f) of this name, BUT Michael until I suddenly found the love for Michael too.
There's no real point of this post, only that I just wanted to share my new change in attitude about the name Lillian (that spelling only - for now). I know it is very common, even in Denmark, but there you have it. :D
