I pronounce this name hav-ee-AIR.
I absolutely cannot stand hearing ex-ay-vee-er. This sounds illiterate to me.
With a Z pronunciation, I can tolerate it.
Yes, I think this is a name that can be confusing, because there seem to be so many pronunciations. And I would guess that there is a fair percentage of the population that has never heard of the name, and would be completely stumped when it came to any pronunciation at all.
