It does sound both dated and old-ladyish. The Theresas I know are all of the Greatest Generation Era.

Teresa is a fantastic, timeless name. I can easily picture a young girl with this name. As for spelling, I prefer Teresa over Theresa. One of the great aspects of this name is you can call her Tessy, or Tessa, or just regular Teresa.

I like Teresa.

It's just a beautiful name. Does it need any other reason to be well-liked? :-) I prefer Theresa. I think it looks nicer than Teresa, though they're both pretty.

I prefer Teresa over Theresa. I like the name too but, I think a lot people see it as "old fashion" and "humble". I still think it's a very pretty name.

I love Teresa, but never Theresa--the H is distracting and pointless. If I used it, it would be in honour of my mother, whose name is Teresa.

I like it for anyone over the age of 13... but it's not a really good name for a newborn...
but if I had to chose I would say Teresa is better... I never understood that H

really hate Teresa, dont know why but it sonds middle aged and frumpy. love Tess though
