[Opinions] Isabelle?
I try so hard to stay out of the really commonly used names... but I really like Isabelle. Not Isabella, not Isabel, Isabelle. Though possibly liking Isobel (and dare I say Isobelle?) as well. Is it way too over-used? I feel like there's a lot of great history behind it way before the recent popularity trend. Should I put it in the MN spot if I love it enough to use it? Any combo suggestions? I thought about Lola Isabelle, Honor Isabelle, or Marie Isabelle.

I like Isabelle, too, and it's my favorite spelling. I'm not bothered by it's popularity, but if you are, the middle is a great place for it. I love seeing Marie as a fn, and Marie Isabelle is darling. I don't care for Honor Isabelle (or really any word name paired with Isabelle) because it becomes too much of a phrase for me; I hear "honor is a bell."

I like it, but I prefer Isobel. I think it's because I've met tons of Isabelle's and Izabelle's, but not a single Isobel. But Isabelle is great as well! I don't really like any of your combos though. I find Marie pretty dull, and Honor Isabelle sounds like you want to honor someone named Isabelle. Lola...well, I do find it quite "trashy" to be honest even though I like the sound of it. What about these:
Nadia Isabelle
Ophelia Isabelle
Freya Isabelle
Amedea Isabelle
Luna Isabelle
Viola Isabelle
Maya Isabelle
Alina Isabelle
Clara Isabelle

I prefer Isabel or Isobel spellings. Isabelle is too frilly for me, and the extra letters seem a bit unnecessary since Isobel is pronounced the same anyway. However, I do prefer Isabelle over Isabella. It sounds nice as a middle name. Honor Isabelle is very pretty.

Personally I do NOT like the spelling of Isabelle. I much prefer Isabel or Isobel. I just think the name looks more balanced that way. In terms of phonetics, a very pretty name. I like it. You don't like Isabel, I know, so I would say go for Isobel. Isobel is definitely not overused. I think that thanks to Twilight IsabelLE might become popular as parents look for names that include "Belle."

I really like Marie Isabelle. Marie isn't overly popular as a first name these days, and even though Isabelle is popular, I don't think that it matters much if it's a middle name.

I liked Mary Isabelle for a long time before switching to Mary Isabel (I like the spanish pronunciation) but Isabelle still has a lot of charm. Still, I wouldn't use it now, save it for a middle name.Rose Isabelle
