What do you think of this name for a girl?
It's really growing on me, which is a surprise considering my top names are Octavia, Beatrix, Violet, Hermione, Elizabeth, Adelaide, Florence, Agnes, Alice and Susannah.

I think it's a little bit on the lame side of whimsical. A fun dog name, maybe.

It's like a replacement for actual poetry. Like when people cut up books and make whimsical art out of them instead of reading the actual books, which are much more interesting. Very pomo and vapid.

I think it's cheesy. If I met a girl named Poet or Poetry I would think, "Well, when you're old enough you can change your name. Until then, courage."

I like it. I like Poet more than Poetry but they are soft and pretty. I wouldn't raise either above a GP though.
