My friend's brother and his wife just had their second daughter Molly Mae. I think it's cute but maybe a little too cutsey. I do think there are too many M sounds in the family. The sister is Madelyn Joy. Besides that the mother is Megan and two of his sisters have M names Michelle and Maggie. But WDYT?

I like Molly Mae, Madelyn Joy, Megan, and Michelle. I agree that there are too many M names in the family, though. I used to go to school with a Molly May. She was a nice girl, but also knew how to stand up for herself. I think of her, so it doesn't seem all overly cutesy to me.

Cutesy yes, but oh so wonderful! Alliterated Ms are pretty great.

It sounds kinda redneck. Sorry.

I love Molly, but don't like Mae or this combo. Madeline Joy would have been fabulous!

Molly is cute, but Molly Mae is rather too far on the cutesy side. Still, she'll just be Molly Lastname to most people, and there's nothing wrong with that. If I were them, I would have thought hard about moving away from M names. Do you have any idea if they purposefully limited themselves to M names or if it happened by accident--like Madelyn and Molly just happen to be the names they love best?

I don't know but another of the siblings has kids that all start with the hard K sound - Caleb, Katherine, and Kiana. I find it kind of interesting siblings both naming their kids in a similar way.
