Danae said Dah-NAY that I don't like, but I can't put my finger on it. As it's originally written
Danaë, which looks a little better in my view, I can't imagine that it'd ever be said like that originally.

Julia mentioned before, I'm more inclined towards a three syllable pron. - I can't say I have it nailed, but a blurred hard-th/soft-d isn't massively difficult, and yet I still think I'm saying it wrong. It's pretty said along those lines, though, something I don't really think I could really say for Dah-NAY.
