[Opinions] "Listen honey, just like Ronnie sang..."

Be my little baby...Aaron doesn't need a nn. Using Ron or Ronnie as its nn seems very forced and contrived. Ari at least seems a bit more natural. In fact I don't know any Aarons who go by any nns except the one who is called A.J.I've never encountered anybody named Roni so I don't know how to pronounce it, I guess the same as Ronnie.Ronnie is popular among guys over about forty here. Ron/Ronnie/Ronald just aren't used very much anymore.I graduated with a girl named Ronnetta. She didn't go by Ronnie, just her full name, but I guess Ronnie could have been a nn for that.I don't mind Ron on a man, it sounds friendly and dependable, but Ronnie sounds kind of redneck.
