[Opinions] Re: WDYTO Rupert?
I like it, it's my brother's name - and one of my nephew's middle names, after my bro. I've met several others, too. I couldn't use it because it would be way too confusing, but these sound good to me:Rupert James
Rupert Oliver
Rupert Barnaby
Rupert Morgan
Rupert Edward
Rupert Thomas
Rupert Fraser
Rupert Nicholas
Rupert Charles
Rupert George
Rupert Frederick
Rupert Gabriel
Rupert Aran

Your parents must be snobs. Why is Rupert so popular in England? I don't get it. It's such a snob name.British people are so judgmental when it comes to names. British people think it's terrible to name your kid Courtney, Donna, Jordan, or Kevin since "only chavs have those names", but it's wonderful to name your kid Rupert, Horatio, Euphrosyne, Hero, or Cressida. This is real life, not some fantasy world.

Uhh... you do realise that, by saying that, you're indicating that the only British people with a valid opinion are the middle and upwards classes who are using names like Rupert? You are explicitly excluding "chavs" (and working-class Britons in general) from your "British" voice.A bit classist, no?
