I haven't frequented the name game bored in awhile, and with the completion of several congrats games I decided to try running a themed game of my own. I'm calling this congrats Nerdy Congrats because while this congrats has themed namebanks, some themes may be a little geekier than others. Themes will include (but are not limited to) topics pertaining to history, science, classical literature, science fiction and fantasy, mythology, and movies.

If you have any suggestions for categories, please include them in your sign up form! I welcome and encourage ideas. I may also draw from player PNLs for a round of the game, so if you'd like to be included in that, make sure that your PNL is public.

I'm not sure how many rounds I'm going to run this for. I suppose it depends on what you want and how many good themes you throw at me. ;)

UPDATE: Since I posted the sign-up late at night, people in Asia/Australia/Europe/the East Coast had an advantage. Thus, I am extending open sign-ups beyond the initial 25 for the next six hours (5pm PST, 1am GMT). I think I can handle a little more. :)

Important Things to Know:
- Namebank rules may slightly change each round due to the niche nature of some themes. Nothing too complicated, however, and special rules will always be bolded.
- I will post a new round every 3-4 days, though it may take a day longer if I'm particlarly busy.
- You will be dropped after three rounds of non-participation if you do not notify me beforehand.
- Please bold new entries.
- Spelling changes are not allowed, but nicknames are fine.
- No ages, please.

Since tonight (or yesterday for some of you) was Oscars night, the namebank theme of the sign-up round is Academy Award Winners for Best Actor and Best Actress. If an actor's stage name is a diminutive of their full name, I also included the full name in the namebank. Surnames were generated using BtN's Random Renamer.
