You've got to watch that people-food canned stuff for sodium content, as the sodium can really build up in a little critter like a cat (or a minpin). But you probably already do check the content labels first.
You know what the little critters really love? Baby food. It's already low in sodium, and my dogs just scarf it up when I give it to them as a treat. I dunno if I've ever seen baby food jars for fish meals, but all the little critters really go for the chicken.

Shadow will eat almost anything (including gefilte fish without horseradish). In fact, I have yet to find something he WON'T eat (he even will eat something containing habaneros, that meshugane).
On the other hand, the feral colony I'm helping loves almost any brand of cat food with broiled fish (without bones, of course). Oh, yeah, they love broiled liver, too.
