I kind of like Verity. It's virtuey but not old-fashioned and has a bit of a badass vibe to it :)

I like Vera as a full name, not necessarily as a nn for Verity. I don't really think Verity needs a nickname, but I suppose Vera is my favorite if I had to pick a nn. Either that or just V. I don't like Rita; it gives me a middle-aged-secretary vibe (and also reminds me of Rita Skeeter).
