[Opinions] Re: Eloisa and Danielle

I don't really like Eloisa, it seems like an unnecessary elaboration to make it sound more feminine. I begrudgingly like Eloise though (I have a bad association with it). I don't think people would get the pronunciation of Eloisa wrong.
I do like Danielle though. It's my cousin's name, and enough of the other Danielles I've known have given it a bright, friendly, driven sort of image for me. My cousin has always gone by Dani, which I like as a nn. I've known a Dannie too, and I think I like that spelling more. Another Danielle I know went by Elle. I'd consider it pretty common. I can think of at least 7 I know off the top of my head, and I'm sure it's more than that. I think it's a bit dated, but not in a bad way so it should be avoided.
