[Opinions] Eloisa and Danielle
What do you think of Eloisa? It's funny because I dislike Eloise and Louisa and I don't like Lou or Louise that much but I think that Eloisa is pretty. I pronounce it eh-lo-EE-sa (kind of like Louisa with an E). Would people say eh-LOY-sa? Just wondering. Also Danielle has been on my mind. Used to find it boring. I know three girls named this. I never thought it was that common but it almost made the top 10 at one point. How many do you know? Too 80s?Eloisa Danielle is on my mind now :P

I think Eloisa is pretty. I know a lovely woman by that name, so that helps. Sometimes I call my niece, who is named Eloise, Eloisa as a pet name.Danielle doesn't do much for me. I suppose it's nice enough, but I know soooo many Danielles that it's just uninteresting to me.

I don't care for the "wheeze" sound in Eloisa, Eloise, and Louisa, but I still find the names respectable. Since you're pronouncing Eloisa eh-lo-EE-sa, that eliminates that issue. I don't know if some people will say eh-LOY-sa; some might, but I think they'd probably be more likely to pronounce it eh-lo-EE-za.I like Danielle despite its popularity in the 80s. It doesn't seem too dated to me, though. Right now, I can only think of one Danielle plus a friend who had Danielle as a middle name off of the top of my head, but I know I've met more than that. Daniela would be a better fit with Eloisa if you were to use them as sister names, but as a middle name, Danielle would work with Eloisa. The only thing is that the combo is kind of heavy on the "el" sounds.

Eloisa is a very pretty name, and Danielle is my first name (I'm 20 turning 21 in May). I think the combo flows nicely and sounds very pretty. I do think Danielle has been used quite a lot over the past 20-30 years, but I think its fine in this combo because Eloisa is just so beautiful and it feels fresh it kind of elevates Danielle a bit.

I adore Eloisa! For the longest time, I liked Louisa and I disliked Eloise and Louise. Then, one day, I stumbled upon Eloisa, fell in love, and now I love Eloisa, Eloise, and Louise, but Louisa bores me and feels weak by comparison. It's one of the few times where my opinion has really turned completely around. Anyway...I think most people will get Eloisa, particularly if they're at all familiar with Eloise or Heloise. Eloisa Danielle is pretty, although I'm not crazy about Danielle. Like Nicole and Michelle, Danielle feels worn out and desperately in need of a long rest. I think it's okay as a middle name, though.

I don't know what happened where I live but I went to school with lots of Louisas and Luisas so it always seemed boring to me. I think I know only one Louise, a Lou and a Mary Louise who goes by Lou. And lots of girls with the middle name Louise.Aren't you surprised how Louise doesn't show any signs of a comeback? And Louisa isn't common according to statistics. I really wonder why. They fit in so well with current trends, especially Louisa.

I think Eloisa is very pretty (although I prefer Eloise or Aloisia). I think people would go with the pronunciation you said (eh-lo-EE-sa), because Eloise and Louisa are popular names and they're similar enough that people would assume that's how it's said.I think Danielle is kind of boring. I know a few, aged 20-30, and I really dislike the nickname Dani.

I don't really like Eloisa, it seems like an unnecessary elaboration to make it sound more feminine. I begrudgingly like Eloise though (I have a bad association with it). I don't think people would get the pronunciation of Eloisa wrong.I do like Danielle though. It's my cousin's name, and enough of the other Danielles I've known have given it a bright, friendly, driven sort of image for me. My cousin has always gone by Dani, which I like as a nn. I've known a Dannie too, and I think I like that spelling more. Another Danielle I know went by Elle. I'd consider it pretty common. I can think of at least 7 I know off the top of my head, and I'm sure it's more than that. I think it's a bit dated, but not in a bad way so it should be avoided.

Because I see Danielle as dated I wouldn't use it as a first name, but I like it as a middle name. Eloisa Danielle is a very pretty combo, and would work really well if you want to honor a friend or relative named Danielle. Unlike you, I prefer Eloise and Louisa over Eloisa. Be forewarned, I can see Eloisa get confused with Louisa, especially if Louisa becomes more popular, as I can see happening.

Though I'm REALLY not a fan of the name Eloise, Eloisa kinda sounds pleasant and likable... Danielle isn't exciting, but it's ok. I've met my share, but it's been a standard long enough that I don't think it would really be a problem... esp. in the mn spot... and they go ok together, though I might not put them in a combo together.
Wouldn't even occur to me to say Eloysa.

I don't think it'd get pronounced el-OY-za, because a lot of people are familiar with Eloise as a name. I agree with you, it's a lovely name. I think it ages well and is very elegant. Eloisa Danielle is nice, but Danielle is one of the most boring names to me. I don't know a huge number of people whose first name is Danielle (probably only four or five), but I know TONS of people with it as a middle name, so it feels more tired than it probably is.Wait, I lied. Just checked my Facebook. I have nine Danielles as friends, but I don't think I know one of them... *deletes* It feels like it's been exhausted. I wouldn't just say too 80s, but rather too 80s, 90s, and early 2000s.

I think that Eloisa is absolutely gorgeous. I love it. Danielle bores me and I just don't especially personally like anything about it, but there's nothing offensive about it either and I think it compliments Eloisa quite well.
