Ooh, I do not like this name. It has no substance, no oomph that grounds it. As much as I enjoy whimsical names, this one just sounds vapid to me (though I acknowledge and appreciate the mythological significance).
I do like Elara
Beatriz, Elara
Josefina, Elara
Lucrezia, and Elara
Theodosia.
For the record, I despise
Liliana and especially
Eliana (one of my least favorite names), and Elara is vastly superior to them.
