[Opinions] Elara
This seems like it could be a suitable replacement for overused Liliana or Eliana. To me, it is prettier, more substantial yet more delicate, still vowel-y and airy, far rarer, and it has the added bonus of being a mythological figure AND a moon of Jupiter.Elara Beatriz
Elara Cecilia
Elara Catherine
Elara Dorothea
Elara Gabriela
Elara Josefina
Elara Lucrezia
Elara Magdalena
Elara Penelope
Elara Serafina
Elara Theodosia
Elara VictoriaYou get the idea. I am in an elaborate mood today.

Well, since Larisa and Lara have been my favorite names since I was around 13, I can easily get behind Elara. I think you described it perfectly and I regularly swoon over names from Greek mythology anyway. I love each and every one of your combos. Nicely done!

Elara is pretty. I first noticed it a couple of years ago on a billboard for a local jewelry store. It was a line of jewelry or something. Do you know the meaning? Of your combos, I like Elara Beatriz best. Very exotic.

Ooh, I do not like this name. It has no substance, no oomph that grounds it. As much as I enjoy whimsical names, this one just sounds vapid to me (though I acknowledge and appreciate the mythological significance).I do like Elara Beatriz, Elara Josefina, Elara Lucrezia, and Elara Theodosia. For the record, I despise Liliana and especially Eliana (one of my least favorite names), and Elara is vastly superior to them.

Yes. I would not use it, myself. But, I am trying to find improvements and cater to the crowds of people who find Liliana appealing. There is a certain type of namer who prefers the anemic, vapid names such as Eliana, so it's important to throw them a few new ideas rather than trying to inflict Hildegard upon them right away. Baby steps.

Haha! You're much more practical and diplomatic than I in that sense -- I'm a serious Hildegard-inflicter!

It is alluring, isn't it? The only problem is, it looks made up.I like Elara Victoria and Elara Catherine.

Oh yes, Elara is much nicer than Eliana and Liliana. Just as you say - still delicate and bright, but not flimsy or suffocatingly frilly. And with its mythological ties, it's a clear winner!Elara Lucrezia is intoxicatingly dark and delicious. Elara Penelope is the soul of sweetness and goodness.

Very pretty. I do prefer Elara to Eliana and Liliana. Maybe it's the -ara part that makes it seems so much more substantial. Of your combos, I really like Elara Beatriz, Elara Catherine, Elara Josefina, Elara Penelope, Elara Theodosia and Elara Victoria.
