I like Archibald better and Archie is lovely. If Archie is common, then I think Archibald is less likely to be teased than if Archie or Archibald was a totally unheard of name. Also, he would probably be called Archie most of the time.

I find Abraham to be an old man's name, and I don't really like any of the nicknames. Abie is the best one, but I feel it might be confused with the girls name Abbie.
