I wouldn't think twice if someone who wasn't Arabic used the name. The first person I think of when I hear the name is Farrah Fawcett who wasn't Arabic. Plus, it's close enough to names that are familiar in English, such as Sarah, Clara, and Cara, so I don't think that using Farrah/Farah would be all that problematic. My guess is that most people in English-speaking countries aren't even aware of Farrah's Arabic roots.

I'm used to seeing Farrah, but I think I prefer Farah. The additional "r" looks a bit superfluous to me. With that said, people might be more apt to spell it Farrah due to Farrah Fawcett, so going with Farrah might be the better choice.

I would expect to see something more popular paired with Jacqueline or something less popular paired with Farrah, but sibling names don't have to match perfectly, so I'd say that Farrah and Jacqueline work as sister names.

I think it's fine if you're not Arabic. I went to school with a a Farrah who had a Polish surname. I have no preference on spelling.

There's a Farah in my son's kindergarten class, a real firecracker! She's no more Arabic than Farrah Fawcett, and I think it can be used on a child from any background. I don't have a strong preference for either spelling, but I'd probably opt for the simpler, cleaner-looking Farah.

I don't really like Farah/Farrah and Jacqueline as sisters. They feel really different to me.

I love Farah; it's on my PNL and I'd use it. The Farrah spelling is fine but I slightly prefer the one R. Farrah Fawcett made the name familiar enough that ethnicity shouldn't be an issue - it'd be different if you were considering Nazli or Rafiqa, for example.

Farrah and Jacqueline would be an okay sibset. Farrah isn't "too" Arabic and Jacqueline isn't "too" French, so they don't clash in the language department. Farrah is more simple, but I think it still works. "Farah and Jacquie" or "Farah and Jackie" sound good too.

I think Farah is a gorgeous name. I think Farrah looks a bit like a stutter, honestly. It reminds me of the actress (which is a shame as I usually like to stay away from celebrity names). Farrah/Farah and Jacqueline as a sibset sounds fine, but like someone else mentioned, Farrah and Jacqueline were both Charlie's Angels so someone might think "oh like the angels!!" But if that doesn't bother you, then it's cool.

I think this works as a sibset. I was even wondering why I had this impression that these names went so well together when I remembered Charlie's Angels, with Jaclyn Smith and Farrah Fawcett! Which brings me back to your first question, I think it suits the actress with no problem and she has no Arabic background.

I don't care for it, since it reminds me of that brat from "16 & Pregnant." If I had to choose, I'd go with the Farrah spelling. Seems more "complete."
