Hadley is way too surnamey and trendy. Why would anyone put
Harley on a girl? It's all boy to normal people who aren't trying to be trendy by crossing more boys' names onto girls. No idea why it's listed as fem. on BtN except that some parents have decided to go w/ the crossover. Not excessively popular... pretty down to earth and sensible and doesn't have the preppy air about it that
Hadley does (
Harley sounds solid, independent and hard-working and
Hadley sounds like a spoiled little rich kid w/ hovering preppy parents... sorry, but those are the images these names give me)... and nice to see it kept on boys where it belongs. I've only ever met male Harleys, I think.
