Like the sound, but the meaning sucks, so I wouldn't use it. Seen too many lives made miserable by bitterness... and bitter people are rather unpleasant to be around. Sometimes bitterness leads to murder, underhanded vengeful deception and even wars... sometimes even from something that started out as a mere mis-understanding. Passion is not what comes to my mind on the meaning of bitter at all.
