This is a typical NTNB, except that the year is now 2104 and the trends are slightly different. Below is an example of 21014 trends in baby names to help out with each family.
In general, parents are finally fed up with the unique-word-name trend. However, there are some word-names that have become so commonplace as to seem usual/typical/normal/okay. Names that were popular in the early 1900s became the standard set for
the parents of this generation. The most popular names (the ones that came back early and strong) from the 1900's are currently the
least trendy. However, the names that had a slower buildup or just didn't see as much use are still considered fair game. Names that were popular in the 1940's/1950's/1960's are the current favorites and one of the most popular trends. Other current trends include unique nicknames as first names, unusual occupational names, and a return to names
from or about medieval times. Finally, the most obnoxious trend (to many name-lovers at least) is giving girls names that were popular boys names in the 1940's/1950's/1960's.

The Jones Family
DH: Durward Elden Jones
DW: "Emmy" Emblem Eloise (née Labelle) Jones
DD: "Trixie" Patricia Eleanor Sailor Jones [NurseMom75]
DS: _____ "E*"____ _____ Jones
Both Emmy and Durward are happy with the results of their daughter's name and feel that it works perfectly for her. They've recently started calling her Trixie for short, because of how much mischief she makes (and because there are two other Patricia's in her playgroup!). They are now expecting their first son, and Durward would like to pass on a family tradition - unusual occupational first names. Durward and Emmy are going to work together to find an "E" MN that suits. Emmy is once again going to chose the last MN - this time a masculine name that was popular in the 1940's but declined completely since then.
The Davis Family
DH: "Cord" Corduroy Hoyt Davis
DW: Rosalina Mollie (née O'Reilly) Davis
DS: Abbott Letholdus Davis [Loki]
DD: _____ _____ Davis
Cord and Rosalina are now welcoming a daughter into their family. They still want to embrace the current trends, but Rosalina would really love a "princess-like" first name for their daughter (and refuses to even consider anything that were previously a popular boys names!). Their DD's FN should be a name that was popular-heard in the 1940's/1950's/1960's, but declined in use since then, and should have a very feminine feel. Her MN should embrace any of the other trends (nickname or occupational name or medieval name).
The Lobo Family
DH: Otis Steven Lobo
DW: Heather-Hadley Merche Maradona-Lobo
DS/DD: Dick Alexander Maradona-Lobo / Troy Angela Maradona-Lobo [Aderyn Azula / JN316]
DS: _____ _____ Maradona-Lobo
Otis and Heather-Hadley are expecting a son to join their family. Once again, Heather-Hadley is insisting that their DS's FN to be a nickname that was popular in the 1950's/1960's. Otis has agreed, and is picking out a MN that, while popular in the 1940's/1950's/1960's, timeless, classic, and masculine.
