What are your thoughts on
Arethusa?
I figure it's one of those extreme old lady names that most people hate, like
Beulah or
Bertha, but I have really come to love it. It's got such a richness in sound, almost like velvet and all of the letters, although different, really seem to work together (that must be an odd way to speak about a name, but I don't think all letters in all names work together). Plus,
Rue or
Ruth are two nicknames that I think could easily be picked out of
Arethusa. That's just adorable.
Do you have any combos to share? I'm not being picky about them-exotic, ethnic, plain, complicated, I don't care, just so long as it sounds good.
On the subject of combos, I have some of my own to share. Any that you like? I know not all of them are good, so I could use a fresh ear. Thanks!
